SOUND FAMILIAR?

Why social life feels stuck

Social media & nostalgia have robbed you of your agency, and your friends are paying the price:
01

You chase nostalgia

Your social life often depends on "catching up" or chasing old highs.
02

You scroll instead of show up

You watch other people's lives online more than you build your own, and the more you consume, the less you create.
03

You feel stuck in the same pattern

You know the pattern by now: you feel "too busy," think about reaching out, talk yourself out of it, feel the same low-agency loop the next week.
THE REAL COST

Staying passive
has a price

The longer you wait to build the habit of a "social catalyst", the more your social life keeps happening to you instead of because of you.

Every weekend you waste is a lost memory with friends or family you'll regret on your deathbed.
01

Watching everyone else have fun

Maybe you're a new parent. Or locked in a high-powered job. But you're missing out on life.
02

The last-minute pullback

Maybe you get the invite, you think about reaching out, and then you don't. Another weekend passes exactly like the last one.
03

Living on autopilot, socially

Scrolling instead of scheduling. Consuming other people's social lives instead of building your own. The gap keeps getting wider.
04

Waking up one day fully checked out

The habits you don't build today become the isolation you feel a year from now. Passive stays passive unless something interrupts it.
THE SHIFT

Many coaches
promise “optimization."

I help you LET GO and be more yourself, one habit at a time:

Small daily habits replace big, scary social leaps

You don't need a personality overhaul, but small, repeatable actions can build momentum every single day.

Fall in love with the process, not the outcome.

Every habit is designed to build resilience for the rest of your life.

Coaching and community that keeps you moving

Whether 1:1 or in a group, you get real support and accountability so the habit actually sticks past week one.

testimonials

"Instead of having a mindset of 'what am I going to get out of this situation' and 'what am I going to get out of these people around me,' Evan taught me to think: 'how do I create and give and create a good atmosphere and vibe around me instead of just consuming.' If there's like a part of yourself that you're you're not fully showing, or like that you kind of want to unlock, or there's room for improvement maybe in the way you interact with people, I definitely recommend booking a session with Evan."

“My favorite part was the journaling. It gave me more of a deliberate time to reflect on things that I do in my social life day to day but never really took the time to write down.”

“I still want to be social. Like I have this like puppy dog mentality where I just want to go out and have a great time. So much of early adulthood s about going out and drinking and and having these wild nights. So how can you still have those fun nights, but be more mature about it?” … “It’s been really fun meeting a group of people that are like minded and going through the same thing you are. I remember at one point somebody actually messaged me privately in the chat and was like, ‘Hey, I'm going through the exact same thing.”

It's just always nice to not feel like you're alone or that you're experiencing things completely independently. Because, again, a reminder that maybe the community that I've been surrounding myself… maybe not all of them are on the same page as me, but there's a ton of people that are out there that are also feeling on that same page, and wanting a different vibration.”

“I’m not new to the party scene… I’ve been in it for many years. But this has been a total game changer. I feel so confident now… people gravitate towards me. And then I can be this light and beacon for people. This has been a life-changing program that defies monetary value”

"When I first heard about this I was like, "'I don't need to learn how to party.'" But it's been really helpful encouraging me to get over my anxiety, get over myself, and just actually get out there and be social. I feel wholly changed by [Evan] and opened to a new mindset."

“Before this, I was feeling a little lost especially with my closest friends and family. Not feeling that we were super connected. After the PARTY WITHIN, I definitely feel more connected both with my friends at home and of course the community we've built in the challenge. It left me feeling more connected and less anxious. I think my favorite technique from the challenge was definitely the triangle of anxiety. So simple. So effective. I can see it helping me a lot with anxiety in certain situations. Especially when partying sober. Which I'm going to do tonight.”

"I felt like I was on autopilot: show up to the bar, get a tequila shot. Why do I do that? After this program, I feel like I was able to share raw, vulnerable, sh*t and finally move out of that pattern."

"What the heck?? I'm dancing at a party with a few drinks, great connections, and vibing. Not even afraid of sitting at the hookah table without doing anything. I have no idea how this is happening without fear, your service is literal magic."

THE METHOD

Built for
modern social life

Modern life makes it very easy to scroll, overthink, wait to be invited, rely on substances, and call that “being social.”

The Party Within is a 7-stage framework rooted in Adlerian psychology & flow state principles for reversing that pattern, so you become someone who creates energy, connection, and fun wherever you go.
01

clear the noise

Reduce distraction. Reclaim your attention. Stop letting algorithms & lazy habits decide what feels rewarding.
02

Lose the nostalgia

Identify the identities, stories, and social conditioning you’re still unconsciously obeying.
03

Supply your own high

Train your ability to access energy, confidence, curiosity, and fun without needing perfect conditions.
04

drop the armor

Stop faking it. Tolerate awkwardness. Become harder to embarrass and easier to connect with.
05

build your tribe

Stop hoping to “find your people.” Identify them, reach out, introduce people, and actively develop your social world.
06

Throw the party

Graduate from attendee to catalyst. Make plans. Host. Gather people. Create your version of experiences worth showing up for.
07

party for life

Turn social agency into a sustainable lifestyle: habits, relationships, rituals, boundaries, and communities that get stronger with age.

Social Agency Coach

WTF is a PARTY COACH?

I turn frustrated consumers into strong creators in their own social life.

Our work is built with daily habits, not cringey transformations.

I'm Evan Cudworth, as far as anyone can tell, the world's first & only Party Coach—and I believe partying might just save humanity.

(more of my story in Salon magazine)

A nerdy UChicago graduate who went on to 20+ years in the tech startup & music scenes of NYC & LA, I've turned my own struggles with validation, alcohol, and substances into a mission to help people reclaim their social lives.

Over the last 6 years I've created The Party Within, a 7-step framework for high-achieving adults to build a high-agency social life: one they actively create rather than passively consume.

Through coaching, community, and habit-based social fitness, I've helped thousands of people liberate themselves from anxiety, scrolling, and reliance on substances—and have a hell of a lot more fun being human.

PARTY COACH IN THE NEWS

Habit-powered transformations

Habit-powered transformations

"Reese, 32, a video engineer in sports broadcasting, credits Cudworth with showing him the value of a journaling practice. “He started me with a gratitude journal. I had never done that before, and it started with, like, one word or one sentence: I love my cat, I love my mom, I love a cup of coffee in the morning. And then by the end of the month, I was writing little essays in those journals, and it was fascinating to go from, ugh, why am I doing this? To, oh, this is really helpful.”

Cudworth acknowledges that it “might sound really cringey,” but he believes the habit-building stage shows clients “that there is this natural energy that’s in them. The things [you] think you need [to be social], like confidence or a drink or the right clothes — those kind of disappear as you work from within."

Digital support for real life

Digital support for real life

"A main principle I follow is respecting digital spaces and communities while prioritizing live events and face-to-face interactions.

Many of us are struggling with boundaries around these things, and during the first week of our group program, I put clients through a "dopamine detox" where we all take twenty-four or forty-eight hours away from social media—which, like mind-altering substances, are profoundly connected to how our brains manage gratification, consumption, cravings, and rewards.

I've also had clients try "no phone Fridays" with their friends and report how it felt; they typically come back with epic memories."

"Even when we do make plans or an attempt to cement the ties that bind us, Cudworth told me that the "radical individualism" stoked by the pandemic had made it more acceptable to cancel plans and just sit alone.

While taking care of one's mental health is
good — as Cudworth said, "I get it; people deserve their peace" — we are ultimately "a society that relies on a culture of integrity and showing up and doing the thing that maybe you don't want to do, but you're going to love that you did it by showing up," he said."

"With the coach’s encouragement, I journaled through prompts like “what social armor do I tend to put up in social situations” and took on missions like engaging in a social event I’d usually opt out of.

I went to have drinks with my wife’s coworkers, an event I would have once said “hell no” to, believing that difficult events full of social friction should be avoided.

This time I leaned into the discomfort the way I’d been forcing myself into a cold shower every morning. While I struggled through small talk, I eventually became a more charming version of myself by the night’s end."
